What customers say?

“ Teppanya is excellent! From service to their food. However, I prefer to share the same table with my companions only. Just my preference. Because I feel a but uneasy dining and sharing the same table with people I do not know because there is so little space between guests. Restaurant accepts cash, card and gcash. ”

“ The shangri-la branch was a world of a difference when it came to service (GH mall was terrible) Here, the food was pretty good! We availed of the unli menu for all of us, and we were able to get quite a bit of food and couldn’t even try out the rest since we were that stuffed. Onto the food, steaks: the sirloin steak (not pictured since I was busy stuffing my face) was our favorite, malasa siya na malambot. Compared to the brazillian and NZ steaks, brazillian was soft with less flavor while NZ had more flavor but was tough. Get the sirloin instead, best of both worlds! Starters: You could skip on the miso soup, it wasn’t all that great and leaned a bit more on the sour side. Baked scallops were a hit, it was yummy and had aburi flavor to it. Wished we got the other baked options too… Seafood: their sashimi cuts were surprisingly great quality for unli! The fish wasn’t fishy, the cuts were good and the color was nice and vibrant. Temperature of the fish was good too, not frozen! The ebi tempura was also great, we’re quite picky with this. The shrimp was fresh and NOT shocked! So it was nice and plump, not the usual mushy frozen then shocked cooked in other restaurants. The other teppanya/seafood dishes: We ordered the chahan fried rice, lobster, squid, and shrimp. These were all great. The rice was so good but it could be too filling so I’d say wither skip or get smaller servings divided to the no. of people. Lobster was cooked beautifully and the flavor was good! I say the squid was definitely a standout, it was nice and soft and the white sauce mayo-based flavor was delicious. The quite was also quite nice, I’d prefer this over the lobster. Nice and crispy skin with nicely cooked shrimp with the garlicky sauce. Lastly for dessert, we just availed every flavor of their gelato. These were great! Everything except the cookies n cream were super good. Matcha tasted like those matcha kitkats, dark chocolate was a favorite not too sweet, but the black sesame was the best. Overall, the food itself was good but some items were just tough to chew, lacked flavor. We had no waiting time since we reserved 2 days prior. Reservation process was easy and responsive too. The service was nice as well but it would be difficult to catch the attention of servers when you needed to order. They’re s pepsi product establishment, but either way, we aren’t a drinks family so just water or hot tea for us. Nonetheless, the chef was amazing, thank you chef Jason! It was a wonderful experience, will definitely be back to try the sushi options and, of course, the squid. They also have private rooms that service around 10 pax and minimum consumption of 20k (includes the unli) if I remember correctly. ”

“ We passed by on a whim. I think we weren't ready for the generous servings so we only were able to eat a few dishes. Food: The scallops were heavenly. They were definitely the highlight of our stay. The teppanyaki dishes were kinda greasy, though. Service: I looooooooved the theatrics of the chef --- he deserves a pay raise! The other crew members were also attentive and friendly towards patrons. Atmosphere: There were enough spaces for each teppanyaki table so it was not so noisy. It let us focus on the chef's theatrics and the food. ”
